Description:
This planetary is relatively easy to find in northwest
Cygnus. This pn showed no color, no central star, and was uniform
in brightness except for a small section on the northwest edge. The
edges were diffuse. The pn is located in a nice star field.
3 stars were seen in the nebula, one on the northwest edge, one on the
northeast edge, and one a little way in from the northwest edge.
The star at the northwest edge was very faint and only seen in moments
of good seeing. When used with the 35mm Rini and Paracorr the orion
ultrablock improved the view of the pn at 164x. But little improvement
was noted with the filter at 408x. North is up.
