Description:
The field was easy to find just 8.9' southwest of 68 cyg but I can't say the same for the planetary!  I looked for this nebula on two seperate nights but could not find it.  However, while at the eyepiece on the second night, I thought I was seeing it.  But what I thought was a faint planetary with a faint central star turned out to be  just a faint star.  The true position of the planetary is about 30" or 40" to the northeast of where I thought it was.  In this drawing north is up and to the left.

Here's a finder chart for W2-245 from megastar.  The bright star at the top is 68 Cyg.  It is listed at mag. 5.
Here's a view of the field from the DSS.  The field of view of the drawing is enclosed in the box.
